Kawaida Energy® offers a range of high efficiency framed, semi-flexible and flexible solar modules or panels. The modules are designed to convert no matter how little of sunlight available into electricity thus offering maximum energy use and bill savings to customers. Before purchasing a solar panel consumers must consider efficiency when assessing a solar panel’s quality of which a rating of 22.5% is considered of high efficiency rating.
Kawaida Energy® offers a range of ready configured Off-Grid solar solutions mainly developed for rural electrification and households. These solar kits are easy to install and designed as “plug and play” which may not require complex technical configuration. The components of these solar kits are tested and supplied by some of our renowned manufacturers/brands which are of high quality, performance and efficiency. A simple solar kit can provide lighting, charge a mobile phone and power a radio while advanced kits can power a TV, refrigerator, fan as well as computer.
Kawaida Energy® offers Grundfos and Shurflo submersible and surface solar pumps. These pumps are designed for most water needs which include the use for agricultural demands such as irrigation, livestock watering, drinking water and pond management. Grundfos and Shurflo products are guaranteed to give a peace of mind to our clients because of their quality, performance and efficiency, and are also covered by product warranty.
Loads include a range of solar powered applications and products such as lighting, cooling fans, fridges/freezers and TVs which Kawaida Energy® offers to its market and customers. Our loads are equally designed for energy efficiency solutions which can save customers electricity costs. Loads are also best suited for Off-Grid solutions especially when applied with a battery because of their low starting current.
The Electronics section comprises a range of high quality and renowned brands of stand-alone inverters, stand-alone inverter/chargers, solar charge controllers (with MPPT), battery chargers, pump inverters, hybrid charge controllers, grid inverters, DC/Ac converters etc. The Electronics section includes brands from Victron, Steca, Studer, and Phocos. Developed for professional duty, Electronic products are designed for optimal efficiency and performance. Our range of Electronics are complaint and manufactured according to industry standards, and are equally suitable for a widest range of applications.
Kawaida Energy® offers a range of AGM, Gel and Flooded batteries best suited to the conditions in our region. This range includes batteries from Sonnenschein, Hoppecke, Phaesun and GNB (Exide). It is very important for customers to know the type and quality of battery especially for battery-based appliances. The battery system ensures the reliability of the Off-Grid or PV-based energy application throughout periods without sunshine. Kawaida Energy offers customer advice with regards to battery lifetime and recycling or disposing which is important to protecting our environment.
