Our Water Pumping Systems Include:

The ability to provide continuous power in any environment makes solar systems perfect for water pumping in remote areas. Solar pumping systems are flexible and modular and can be designed according to water demand or aquifer limitations. Some systems can work in hybrid configurations with other power supplies such as wind, generator or mains power. The solar systems can be designed to pump up to more than 300.000 litres per day at lower heads to smaller water quantities at higher heads up to 300 metres. The energy generated by the generator is used directly to pump the water, therefore batteries and charge controllers are not needed.

Access to drinking water, everywhere and for everyone throughout the world is possible with autonomous water purification stations operating with photovoltaic energy. They are normally using a combination of UV disinfection and solar energy to clean water and therefore ensure access to safe water for rural populations in developing countries and isolated sites.

Advantages:

  • Water is made microbiologically safe

  • Low-cost production of drinking water

  • The systems can be fixed on a masonry base, or built into the wall of a building (using local materials and labour),

  • Simple design, easy maintenance

  • Contribution to local economic development, making users more responsible (installation, maintenance)

Components Application
  • Solar Module

  • Battery

  • Water cleaning unit

  • Water desinfection

Kawaida Energy in cooperation with Phaesun offers complete Off-Grid systems for water desalination. Our German support company Mörk has developed the innovative PV-driven Mörk Desalin® plant concept to improve the drinking water supply – particularly in coastal areas in developing countries. For the drawing of seawater, a well that is already salty is used, or a new well is dug by the coast. As many local materials as possible are used, such as tanks, pipes, foundation and steel frame. The focus of the project is to integrate the plant into local society and culture from the outset. System sizing is done according to the individual location and water needs.

Advantages:

  • Self-sufficient (through 100% renewable energy supply, high energy efficiency)

  • Sustainable (chemical free drinking water production)

  • Reliable (German quality – systems built to last)

  • Simple to operate and maintain
